All female team
From design to manufacturing, we work with an all-female team
We wanted to make clothes that felt right on our bodies
We set out to create gender-neutral, inclusive pieces that feel right to wear — comfortable, versatile, and inspired by the artistry of our heritage. Proudly queer and South Asian owned, Huhvah is built with love, intention, and a deep commitment to self-expression.
Born in Bangalore. Raised by an all-female team
Huhvah launched in March 2025. Our debut collection was crafted in Bangalore, India, and introduced in New York and Austin — where we were met with incredible love from our community. Every piece is brought to life by our team of female tailors and designers, whose skills reflect generations of artistry, tradition, and cultural knowledge.
Earth-conscious by design
Many of our pieces are crafted from upcycled sarees and kurtas, thoughtfully transformed to reduce textile waste. We focus on natural fibers like silk, linen, and cotton — materials that feel good and tread lightly on the earth. Our collections are produced in small batches to avoid overproduction, and any unsold pieces are reworked into future designs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I care for my garment?
Due to the delicate, upcycled nature of our fabrics, all pieces are dry clean only or, in some cases, hand wash separately in cold water.
If you are going to wash your garment (not recommended for silks or linens) wash separately in cold water. Bleeding of fabric dye is expected as we use natural dyes in many of our pieces.
Fading of the dye may occur with time. To extend the life of each garment, handle gently and store in a cool, dark space.
What is your return policy?
We truly hope you love the pieces you order. But if something isn’t quite right, no problem.

Unless the item you received was incorrect or damaged, you will be responsible for return shipping costs. To start a return, email us at hello@huhvah.com.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition, with no visible signs of wear. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.
